Background

The IAPT team were having difficulty with their current case management system’s reporting functions, which were unable to easily and efficiently provide NHS Digital data.

Instead, analysts had to spend 3-4 weeks downloading and combining various reports in order to obtain this data. In addition, the figures that were being produced did not accurately reflect the service’s activity.

This frustration led the Trust to contact PCMIS to see if the system could provide improved IAPT reporting to solve this problem.

The Transition

"[The experience was] very good. PCMIS worked very hard with our service to migrate data and configure the solution to meet our needs."

The PCMIS Solution

After successfully migrating data from their existing system, PCMIS was able to provide a dedicated IAPT solution, allowing all the required information to be recorded together.

A single extract report which can be quickly and easily downloaded by relevant staff was created, to replace the combined report that had been used previously.

MyWellbeing College also benefit from PCMIS Online eReferrals, which they use for their Single Point of Access (SPA). Clients are now able to easily and securely refer themselves to the service online, increasing access and providing a more flexible referral route into treatment.
